YachtCrew-cv.com and YachtingCrews.com are sites that exists to introduce people to the world of professional yachting and currently get around 250 000 visitors a year.
Visitors who either are interested in working as crew or are exisiting crew who want to further their training in the field.

From a simple 5 page site in 1999 yachtcrew-cv and yachtingcrews have evolved into a thriving network that bring crew and new crew together with organisations that meet their needs and interests.
In particular crew agents, crew accommodation, insurance queries but above all we get requests for crew training and quite literally from all over the world, including Canada, the States, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, the UK, France, Israel, Egypty and Sweden.

Behind the Scenes

Yachtcrew-cv and yachtingcrews.com are run by Jen Moon and Alan Cooke.

With over fifty combined years of working on, and sailing yachts we have considerable industry experience and this website exists to introduce new crew to the superyacht industry and help exisiting crew.

Alan is a yachtsman who has sailed and raced since 1973. He started sailing dinghies at twelve and moved onto keel boats at fourteen. He owns his own yacht which he keeps in South Africa.

He is also a keen photographer and has also redesigned and built a yacht, the original award winning, Dudley Dix, S/V Concept Won.

Jen, who started sailing at sixteen, is an author, chef and yachtie and has worked on Superyachts and yachts as a chef, stewardess and deckhand.
She has cooked for royalty, polticians, pop stars, formula one drivers and many more.

Her favourite sailing spots are the French and Italian Riveira's and the Turkish coast.
