There are three main areas where crew go and look for work, depending on the season.
Fort Lauderdale - for the winter season (Nov/Dec - March/April)
Antibes and Palma Mallorca for the summer season. (April/May - Oct/Nov)
The BEST way to increase your chances of finding a job is to be THERE.
Put it this way - If you were in a employers shoes and needed someone to work on your boat would you want to interview some 8'000 miles away first?
That is why we have provided a map to add your profile. Crew Agents, captains etc can find crew where they are needing crew. Adding your profile is easy. Once you have registered on Yachting Crews, login and under 'Vacancies & Crew' select 'Crew Available'. Read the boring stuff and then click 'Add' on the map (top right under the map style buttons). Fill in the form and 'Submit'. Once approved your profile will be displayed.
What if I move?
No problem! Just let us know and we will relocate your marker. Better still you will be able do it yourself in a day or two.
With your own editing rights to your marker you will be able to update and add your own content. Do you have a YouTube video interview of yourself? No problem...add it to your marker. Just finished a course....click your bookmarked marker link and add your new qualification. Need to change to a more recent photo? Easy Peasy!
After a huge amount of research we have found hostelbookers which offer the greatest range of inexpensive accommodation in those three key areas.
