Five things your crew agent hates
- Calls at 3-4am, from different time zones, when first applying to register (even agents sleep sometimes) then followed by, oh well, you're up now so we may as well talk ... !!!
- Approaches (first time especially and never met before) in pub late at night, drunk, demanding why all agents are so shit, again not a great approach.
- Trapping an agent for 2 hours in a pub toilet (especially when aspiring crew member is very drunk) rambling on about how desperately broke they are, and why doesn't anyone want to employ them, and how the agent is now totally responsible for their whole future and and and... (now it's a toss up who is more depressed, agent or candidate and there is the question of who will be throwing themselves off the nearest quay within the next 10 mins.)
- Swearing at interview, seems such a basic thing, but every 2nd to 4th word being a swear word? No thank you!!!
- Blatant lying
