Jen thanks for such a speedy reply and solution - the link and download worked fine and i can now read your 2nd edition. i very much enjoyed the 1st edition in paperback which i bought at the uksa on the isle of wight and which got snapped up by my nephew who wants to be a chef afloat. I am at Airlie Beach near the Whitsunday Islands (Great Barrier Reef) for the (Aussie) winter sailing season.
